A PATIARCH POWERLESS.
Constantinople, August 5. The Patriarch of the Greek Church, resident at Stamboul, has resigned because the Porte invested a Bulgarian as Bishop of Macedonia. The agitation in Armenia is increasing. The Patriarch is about to resign, being powerless to control the police.
