TARANAKI JUBILEE.

New Plymouth, this day. A large and enthusiastic meeting was held last night, when ib was decided to celebrate the jubilee of the settlement of Taranaki in March next. A Preliminary Committee was appointed and a guarantee fund started. Dr. Hucchinbon and Mr Halcombe, both late of "Wellington, addressed the meeting.
