To the Editor of the Auckland Star.

Sunny Brae, Lake Takapnna. July 18,1890,

Sir.—Will you allow me through your valu able columns to make a statement that I trust may be a benefit to suffering humanity. Three months ago, acting on the advice of my sister, I came from Mokianga to Auckland for the purpose of trying Mr Warmoll'e Hydropathic Treatment and Edenic Diet. I entered this establishment on the 17th or June. I was suffering i'rom Cancer in the Leg, of eleven years'growth. All my friends know it to be a terrible case. Aly sufferings have been great and constant. 1 have tried many medical men, and attended the Hospital in Doctor Philson's time, , but could get no relief or hope of cure. For the last seven years it has been getting worse, and I have been constantly racked with pain, not being able to get more than half-an-hour's sleep at a time. I could not put my foot to the grotind during all that time, the sinews of my leg being contracted. My bowels were quite torpid, no action without artificial aid. in fact I had no hope of relief, nor any prospect of being: cured, all was dark ; but now, I thank God, -all this is changed, and 1 feel it my duty to others who are suffering to uifrke publicly known il?e facts o£ my case. After being three days under treatment and on the Edenic Diet the pain was removed, my sleep* wa3 fully restored: no wakefulness trouoles me now, I rise feeling refreshed and well, perfectly natural aciion of the bowels was established, and, wonderful tosay, on the fourth day the muscles of my leg relaxed and my foot came to the ground without any pain, in fact the euro has been going on by a painless process ever since. , . I have found no inconvenience -whatever from the change of diet, on the contrary I find it pleasant and have no desire for the cooked food. I never suffer now from constipation, ray leg has a healthy appearance and is getting well rapidly. / cannot speak too highly of the kind and skilful nursing I have received from Mrs Warmoll and her assistants.—l remain, yours f aitbiully,

ANNIE RUSSELL.
