Referring to the recent prosecution and the penalty of £5 and costs, or 14 days' imprisonment, imposed by the Court, it is hereby notified, with a view to the prevention of further frauds in the sale of inferior spirits or compounds from WOLFE'S SCHNAPPS BOTTLES, that future proceedings will be instituted under a more stringent section of the Trade Marks Act of. New Zealand, 30 Vict., -No. 9. This clause makes the offence a MISDEMEANOUR, and imposes a penalty up to TWO YEARS' IMPRISONMENT with the fine of any amount that may be fixed by the Judge.
