PRESBYTERIAN SYNOD.

\ Sydney, this day. The Presbyterian Synod of the Hebrides have resolved that the time has come to encourage the growth of British settlement. They urge that the Imperial Government be moved to provide British subjects with legal title to land, and forbid foreign labour traffic. Copies of all the resolutions paesed have been sent to Lord Knutsford and all the Premiers of the colonies.
