RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS, AND WHARF LABOUR.
Messrs D. P. Fisher and Brown, ton Wharf Labourers' delegates to the Maritime Council, waited on the Railway Commissioners yesterday, requesting that the rate for casual labour on the LyKtelton wharf be increased from Is 6d to ils per hour. The Commissioners agreed to make the concession.
