THE WEST COAST MINERS
No further news is to hand from Brunnerton. The mines are at a standstill, but all is quiet. It is understood the Company will reply to Mr Andrews' letter combating his statements regarding the men and the aggregate number employed. No steamers are in pert, and only ono sailing vessel is loading coke for Adelaide, Dredging alongside the wharf is stopped, and the dredge laid up, ail money allotted for jobs being expended.
