To the Editor of the Auckland Star. Sunny Brae, Lake Takapuna; July 18,1890. Sir.—Will you allow me through your valu able columns to make a statement that I trust may be a benefit to suffering humanity. Three months ago, acting on the advice of my sister, I came from Hokianga to Auckland for the purpose of trying Mr WarmoU'a Hydropathic Treatment and Edenic Diet. I entered this establishment on the 17th of Jnne. I was sufiering from Cancer in the Leg, of eleven years'growth. All my friends know it to be a terrible case. JMy sufferings have been great and constant. I have tried many medical men, and. attended the Hospital in Doctor Philson's time, but could get no relief or hope of cure. For the last seven years it has been getting worse, and I have been constantly racked with pain, not being able to get more than half-an-hour's sleep at a time. I could not put my foot to the ground during all that time, fiie sinewS'Of my leg being contracted. My bowels were quite torpid, no action without artificial aid. in fact 1 had no hope of relief, nor any prospect of being cured, all was dark: but now, I thank God, all this is changed, and I feel it my duty to others who are suffering to make publicly known tho facts of my case. After being threeday3 under treatment and on the Edenic Diet the pain waa removed, my sleep was fully restored: no wakefulness • troubles me now, I rise feeling refreshed and well, perfectly natural action of the bowels was established, and, wonderful to say; on the fourth ' day the muscles of my leg relaxed and my foot came to the ground without any pain, in fact the cure has been going on by a painless process ever since. .... I have found no inconvenience whatever from the change of diet, on the contrary I find it pleasant and have no desire for the cooked food. I never suffer now from constipation, my leg has a healthy appearance and is getting well rapidly, J cannot speak too highly of the kind and skilful nursing I have received from Mrs Warnioll and her assistants.—l remain, yours faithfully, . ■■■■■■ ANNIE RUSSELL.
