PUHIPUHI SILVER ORE.
ANOTHER GOOD RETURN.
The treatment of half a ton of dry crushed argentiferous ore from the Prospectors' Claim, Puhipuhi, has jusb been complebed ab bhe Onslow Reduction Works, for a good resulb of 26 ounces bullion, which is equal bo nineby-five per cenb. of the assay value. The process adopted in its treatment was pan amalgamation wibh chemicals, and the resulb shows bhab the Watson and Denny pans are capable of treating argentiferous ores with success.
