Tho mafrch againsb All England was commenced in fine weabher on a slow wicket to-day. Jones is ill and Wood injured, so neither Can play. Burns takes a place in the teani. Grace captained the English. The Australians are all out for 132. Lyons made 55 ; Barrett, 9 ; Turner, 24 ; Murdoch, 9.
The English beam have losb four wickets for 18. Grace was caught before he had scored a run.' Read was also caughb, fowled by Fergus without scoring. Gunn was run oub for 14, and Shrewsbury stumped for 4.
