In the local produce market there is little alteration to report regarding the week's quotations. Fresh eggs are slightly more plentiful, and Is per dozen is the wholesale price. Fresh butter is still at 6d, Bd, and lOd per lb as lasb week. Pobaboes are fetching L m £3 10s to £4 per ton. The kauri gum mtrkeb is much the same as at last reporb, w ibh a downward tendency. The gum supplies for lasb month were 620 tons, and for July to date 130 tons.* Do nob be "a penny wise and a pound foolish," bub ask for and buy Brown, Barrett and Co.'s genuine pepper. Ib is cleaner and cheaper than the adulterated stuff sold as pepper. To make sure of getting ourToanufaoture, ask for tins. Every tin bears our guarantee.—Brown, Barrett, and Co., (ADVX.) .&■-■'•:*•••;•:" , "''j; •"■■£•:•'• •"-•'•■••" v _
