, 4* (BY TELEGRAPH,—OWN CO-RESPONDENT.) Thames, this day. Cambria.—Good dabs of gold were seen when breaking down the leader ab No. 2 level in the crosscut. In No. 3 level a leader two inches thick has been cut. Ib carries a little gold., Adeline Amalgamated. — Work has been discontinued on No. 1 reef, and quartz is now being obtained from Collin's leader. This will be senb to the babtery as soon as the weather permits. The sledge road has now been completed. Orlando. —The reef ab the new level*has increased in size to 15 inches, and colours of goldareseen when breaking down thaquartz. Tho contractors have driven 13 feeb at the crosscut through a splendid channel of sandstone country, which augurs well for o-old when the reef is met with. Dives.—The reef at No. 3 level carries good mineral, and dt the intermedia.be level gold is seen in bhe leader. In No. 5 stope gold was seen at lasb breaking down, and a few pounds of picked stone were saved. There are now 40 loads of quartz, and 121bs of picked stone on hand. Freedom.—A small leader showing gold has been met with in the footwall. Some picked stone was obtained. Good dish prospects were also obtained from the'large reef at the point where the leader junction.d with it. There is now a good stream of .water coming from the face of the drive, which a large body of quajtz close at hand. *>iW%)
