Tha men are to consider the matter to-night, and in the meantime they have an opportunity to check MiKennedy's statement as to his losses by sending experts to examine the Company's books at Dunodin, where they are'kept, and this will bo the work of a week. Mr Kennedy wants the miners to go to work on Monday at 10 per cont. reduction, and, if hid statement; as to the Company's losses is correct, he will expect hewers to accept 20 per cent, reduction. If, on the other hand, ho is in error, he will not press tor a reduction.
