... London, July 3. In the Derbyshire-Australian cricket match the wicket was sticky and difficult. Turner got six wickets for 16, and Ferris four for 30. The Australians in the second innings lost nine wickots for 75, when the innings had to be declared closed in consequence of the rain. Jones played very well, and was nob oub wibh an innings of 29.
