There has boon a good deal of discussion in football circles during the last day or two over tho possibility that the action of the Management Committee of the Rugby Union will cause the North Shore Club to retire from the contest for the Senior Cup. The Shore men cannot play except on the Devonporb Domain ground, and the Union wish them to play at Potter's. Some complaint has been made-of the state of the Devbnport ground, but a very little expense would put it to rights', and that expense the Shore men are willing to incur. It is generally hoped that the North Shore team will not bo forced out of the contest.
