Bluett v. Tuntji.—Henry Peter, Bluetbv. Taka Tunui and dther3. This was a claim for the possession of land, and for £1,000 alleged damages for profits and occupation. —Mr T. Humphreys appeared for plaintiff, and stated thab since last session tke plaintiff had beee adjudicated a bankrupt, and under the circumstances the creditors were considering the advisability of proceeding with the case. He would, therefore, ask thab it be adjourned until next session.—Mr W. J. Napier appeared for defendant and asked that the case be sbruck out, as the cosbs of the previous action had not been paid and consequently these proceedings we're barred.— His Honor said thab as Mr Humphreys admitted that the plaintiff was a bankrupt, he had no locus standi. As there was no appearance on behalf of the Official Assienee, the case was struck out, costs being , allowed according to scale. Alleged Libel. — George Hescotb v. Charles Subton. Claim for £100 damages for alleged libel.—Mr E. Heskebh said he knew thab bhe case had been satbled.—His Honor struck oub the case, remarking thab it would be well ander such circumstances if the Registrar was informed of the facb beforehand. Action , to Set Aside Conveyance.— Materi Toha y. Hone Kawhena and obhers. This was a claim thafe a certain conveyance be set aside and declared void. Plaintiff did nob appear. —Mr F. Earl appeared for defendants, and stated thab he. had receired intimation from
