PRIZE MONEY TO BE PAID IN FULL.

The Auckland Jubilee Horticultural Show Commibbee held a meebing lasb evening, when the accounts and balance-sheet of the recent successful show were read and adopted. The total receipts amounted to £137, while £136 covered the expense's, thusleaving about £1 balance in hand. The full amount of bhe prize money is £7, which will be paid in full. This is a very sabisfacbory sbate of affairs, and the Committee deserve credit for the manner in which they carried the Jubilee Show to such a successful issue. It was resolved that the West End Musical Union and Mr Philpott, the conductor, be cordially thanked for their very kind performance of the Jubilee concert and tableaux on the Friday evening, which added very materially to the pleasure of the visitors, and greatly assisted the success of the Show. Miss Wright and Mr Tracy were thanked for their musical assistance, and Dr. Sanders was thanked for the performance of the duties as superintendent of stewards, and the judge and Mr Dewes, secretary, also received cordial votes of thanks tor their services. Mr Dewes has been appointed to pay the prize money, and any persons desirous of seeing the Show accounts can do so by calling on him.
