Tenders. —The following tlndera were accepted for painting school buildings :— At Waikiekio, Mr Hey wood, £17 ; at Waipu Centra 1 ., Mr McGregor, £14 17s 6d ; at Waipu Cove, Mr Sloane, £7 5s ; at Ohaupo, Mr Cox, £7 6s ; Te Ruku, Mr E. Cox, £5 10s ; and Te Rore, Mr Shepherd, £10 10s. Hukkrknui Sooth. — Application for fencing, to coat £18. —Decided to fence necessary boundary. Long Bay.—Application for schoool deferred for Inspector's report of the diStrict. Paxmurb. — Decided to effect certain small repairs to school. TaraurCi. — Owing to settlers having done so much towards clearing ground, etc., at -this place, it was decided to send them wire for fencing. New Lynn.—Resolved to consult Commissioner as to obtaining grounds for a teacher's house. AppoiNTfliKNm—Mr Whitaker was appointed assistant master at Graf ton Road, Mrs Harden teacher of New Lynn School, and Miss Jerram to Turanga Creek. The appointment of assistant to Parnell wae deferred for a week.
