SILVER CURRENCY.
London, December 5.
Mr Windom proposes to repeal that portion of the Bland Act compelling a minimum coinage of two millions sterling. He suggests an issue of Treasury notes against deposits ol silver bullion, payable on demand at the market price of silver.
