EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING of the Shareholders of the Northern Stcatnship Company (Limited) will be held at the Offices of the Company, Palmerston Buildings, No. 45, Queen-street, Auckland, on FRIDAY, the 20th day of December, 1389, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, at which the following Resolutions will be proposed :— 1. That the following resolution, rassed nt an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company duly convened and heid on the 3rd day of December, ICC9, viz. :— 'That the Capital of the Conipany be rediiced from £150.000, divided into 150,000 shares of £1 each, to £105,7,0, divided, into ISO.OCO shares oi l*a 6d each, and that such reduction be effected by cancelling capital which has been lost, or is unrepresented by available assets, to the extent of 5s 6d per share, as follows :-\a) The 12,495 fully paid iip, shares of £1 each now exiting, shall be reduced from £1 to 14s 6d per share, by the cancellation of 5s 6d per share, and shall be deemed fully paid up to 14s 6d per share, and shall be called "A Shares. (b) The 104.289 shares of £1 each, issued and paid up to 12s 6d per share, shall be reduced from £1 pershi.ro (12s 6d paid up) io 14s 6d per share (7s paid up?, by the cancellation of 6s 5d per share, and shall be deemed paid up to 7s per share, and Shall be called " B " Snare*, (c) The 33 216 shares never issued by the Company, thall bo re--1 duced from the nominal value of £1 per share to the nominal value of l<ls 6d per share, and upon which no sum per share has been or is to be deemed paid up, and shall be called " C " Shares,' be confirmed. 2. That the following resolution, passed at the above meeting held on the 3rd day of December. 1389, viz. :-'That the exiting Certificates of. the 12,495 and 104,?83 shares already issued be called in by the Directors and cancelled, and that New Certificates be ismed,' be confirmed.
