ATHLETIC TEAM FOR DUNEDIN.
The trials in connection with the <proposed sending of a team of bicyclists to Dunedin take place this afternoon in the Domain at about half-past 4 o'clock. Those chosen will probably leave by the Wanaka tomorrow afternoon, arriving in Dunedin early in the week, about Tuesday; so that they will have plenty of time to recruit after their sea voyage. All those who have any chance of going have been in very steady training all the week. It seems certain, unfortunately, that Upfill will not be able to get away owing to business engagements. Many will be disappointed at thie, as it was considered pretty certain that he would bring back the championship for the jumping.
