WAIKATO HOSPITAL BOARD.

Hamilton, this day. The Waikato Hospital Board met yesterday The old Board firsb met and confirmed the minutes, and the new Board then met. Mr Primrose was re-elected Chairman. There were present Messrs Clements (Cambridge), Yon Stunner (Hamilton), Sandes (Raglan), .Primrose Kallander, McPherson and Seddon (Waikato), Lang, Finch (Waipa), Brunskill, Heany, Chepmell (Piako). The quoratn of the Board was settled to be 7. The, House Committees for the year was appointed, viz., Messrs Primrose, Seddon, Sandes; Finance Committee, the same. The correspondence read was not ot much '< importance, except regarding a patient who left Waikato for Auckland Hospital for eye treatment. The Board resolved that unless, the patient was getting treatment from a special oculist he must return to Waikato, or the Board wouldnot be responsible for the cost of maintenance, it was resolved thafeno regular meeting of the Board should take place in January, but that the Finance Committee should be authorised to pay the interim accounts. Mr T H White sent a voluntary contribution of 10s, and was thanked for the same.
