ALLEGED CRUELTY.

i . Christcht/rch, this day, Mrs Abbott, found guilty of cruelty to a child, was suffering from nervous prostration and was unable -o appear in Court yesterday. Mr Justice Denniston therefore postponed the delivery of tlje sentence till Monday next.
