THE AUSTRALIAN SQUADRON.
London, July 29. Sir Saul Samuel, Agent-General for New South Wales, has asked the First Lord of the Admiralty to confer with the representatives of the colonies as to the propriety of giving the ships of the auxiliary squadron aboriginal names in place of those already proposed. It is thought Lord George Hamilton will probably agree to reconsider the Admiralty's determination.
