AN UNFOUNDED REPORT.
London, June 20.
Sir J- Fergusson, in answer to a ques" ticra in the House of Commons, stated that the report was untrue that Professor Arminius Vambery had been on a special mission to Constantinople to ascertain whether the Porte would remain neutral in the event of a rupture between England and Russia.
