The last civil case of the sessions, opened to-day and excited great interest. Ramsones (maltster) v. Fildes, Manager of the Bank of New Zealand, Islander, claim £500. Plaintiff said that on April 2nd defendant shouted out to him in Market Place, "I'll make bankrupt of "you," and that had seriously damaged him. Messrs W. Sinclair and S. P. McNab appeared for plaintiff and E. T. Connolly for defendant.
