SUDDEN DEATH IN PARNELL.
A MAN named Tertius Francis Otway was found dead in bed this morning at his residence, Albion - street, Parnell. His wife Mrs Otway states that her husband was a blacksmith, and worked at the railway shop, Newmarket. He was 51 years of age, and was at work yesterday, and came home about iive p.m. and remained about the house till bedtime, had his supper and went to bed. He did not complain of anything unusually the matter with him though he has been a great sufferer for about 13 year? with asthma. About 6 o'clock this morning she awoke and found her husband dead' alongside of her in bed, but; still quite warm. She sent for Dr. Mackellar, but he could do nothing. Subsequently, Dr. Wright arrived, and stated that as be had attended deceased, 'he would give a certificate of the cause of death. Under these circumstances, the coroner will not hold an inquest,. The deceased was a respectable hardworking man of temperate habits.
