a — FREQUENT VISITS TO AUCKLAND PROMISED. (UY TELEGRAM.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.) T,vuro, this day. The Governor and party arrived at Wairakei on Saturday evening, and visited the geysers in the valleyyesterday morning, and then left for the Spa, arriving at 2 p.m. They left again for Napier at nine o'clock thi3 morning per Crowther and McCauley special, and were highly pleased with their comfortable stay at the Spa. The Governor stated that it wns his intention to make more frequent and prolonged visits to Auckland than his. predecessor did, and will travel overland via Taupo. (by telegraph.—press association.) Wellington, this day. Mr Walrond, private secretary, leaves this afternoon for Napier to meet the Governor. The Premier and Mr Hislop are expected back to-morrow.
