The youth of Ponsonby purpose holding a meeting at an early date bo raise a team to enter for the Junior Cup.
VVhyte, who played forward for Gordon last year, has thrown in his lot with Grafton. He could not resist the tempting offer of a game agains;t the Ponekes, co ho gave hia old club mates best.

I am informed that it is the intention of the Ellerslie Panmure Football Clubs to amalgamate and have a try for the Junior Cup. "Dick" Somerfield is at the bottom of it. If things go oa a (, this rate there should be some interest in junior football this year.
I hear that C. P. Hulme, from Tauranga will play back for Grafton until their old men return, that is, if he is good enough, ? remember him playing for the Roseberpw (the unbeaten juniors) some four years back when he gave promise of being a trood player. He was a fine kick and a splendid tackier. Whab he is no«v is a question, as ho has been away at Tauranga.
There is just a chance that the two Tanners, who played for the Tauranga "reps." lasC year and gave the Auckland boys some trouble, will be in Auckland this season. If they are thej will play fo r Grafton.
Charlie Stone, erstwhile of the Waitemattis, and a rattling good forward, has thrown in his lot with the maroons.
Charlie Marshall declares he will only play for last year's cup winners this season.
