Russell, this clay. — The steamers Tarawera and Wainui arrived from Auckland yesterday morning. The Tarawera Bailed for Sydney at noon and the Wainui for Fiji at 5 p.m. ; the Clansman arrived from the North at 8 p.m., and sailed for Auckland at 6 p.m. to-day; the whale ship Niger, Captain Chase, has jusb arrived. Her catch since June lasb is 860 barrels of oil and 2700 lbs bone. »
Melbourne, this day.—Arrived: Manapouri, e.s., from the Bluff. Sailed : Rotomahana, s.s., for theßluff.
