N.S.W. DEFICIT.
EXPLANATION IN EONDON.
<f - London, March 6. Reuters Agency publishes a cablegram from Sydney in the English papers, to the effect that the Colonial Treasurer had stated that there was a four million deficit last year.
Sir Saul Samuel, the Agent-General
for the colony, writes to the Metropolitan papers to-day, stating that this sum is really the accmnuiation of political confusion.
