Saxon.—The gas has been very troublesome lately, and has somewhat impeded operations, especially at No. 5 level. There are still eight or nine feet to drive before the main reef is packed up beyond the break.
Cambria. —The winze is now down a depth of 20ft., and colours of gold continue to be.freely seen when breaking down-both leaders.. The crosscut at No. 3 level is passing through a nice description of sandstone, arid is in 99 feet, but no leaders have been met with.
