The ox-Empress Victoria is much incensed by the Emperor's refusal to grant her thb use of the Neve Palace at Potsdam, her country residence ever since her marriage. The relatives of Professor Geffken, who was arrested for publishing Frederick lll.'a diary, have forwarded to the Court a medical certificate showing- that he is suffering from neurosis, and nob responsible. A Munich newspaper gave, on October 9th, details of the plot to assassinate Emperor William while in South Germany, it .says that ten Anarchists left Switzerland with the intention of blowing the Kaiser into pieces with bombs as he' was passing through Wurtemberg. The route was changed on this account.
