SENTENCED FOE MANSLAUGHTER.
Sydney, October 11,
The young man, Arthur Coulton, who shot his step-father, Patrick James Keenahan, a publican, on Moore Creek) Tamworth, on September 3rd, the latter having, it is alleged, seduced the prisoner's sister, has been convicted on a charge of manslaughter, and sentenced to two years and nine months' imprisonment. The sentence will prohaijly be commuted, as Con!ton is said to be in a rapid decline, and cannot live for any length of time.
