EARTHQUAKE IN THE SOUTH.

Westport, this day. Severe .shocks of earthquake occurred at at 2.30 thi's morning. Chri-.tchorcs, this day. . SHOCK OF EARTHQUAKE. A slight shock ot earthquake was felt* here ab 2.24 a.m. to-day. The apparent direction was East and West, and the duration about eight second's.
The following programme will be performed by the Artillery Band, under Bandmaster Hunter, at the Rugby Union Sports tomorrow afternoon :—- Grand march, " Fraternitie," R.
