LATE SHIPPING.
Outwards Coastwise. — LagOGn, scow* for the Wade, with 5,000 feet sawn timber; Waiwera, schooner, for Whangarei, in ballast. A Stormy Passage. Pobt Chalmers. — Arrived : Sileetis, Captain Morris, 106 days from London, with part cargo for Napier. She encountered very heavy weather during which her decks were swept, the boats and skylights smashed, and her cabin flooded, and a considerable quantity of water found its way down the thold. On Septem"bet 7th exchanged signals with the ship Hengiah, bound to Melbourne. The master wished to be reported haying encountered a heavy gale, during which her decks were swept and bulwarks smashed. Also passed a ship same day with fore and mizin topmasts gone.
