Cambria.—The rise on the leader at No. 4 level is up 10ft, and colours of gold are still seen when breaking down the .quartz.: A ci'osscut has been started at this level on a leader passing through during the progress of the drive. It is being extended on the course of the leader-in a, northerly direbfjipn, and should junction with the main reef some distance ahead. Dabs and colours of gold continue to be seen in the winze on No. 6 leader at No. 3 level, and there is ho doubt as to the payablencss of the quartz. There is. no change to report from the stopes, which are producing quartz of remunerative grade.-' •' - - : New Prince 'Imperial.—Work is now confined to the western stopes at No. 3 level. Colours of gold areobserved in the quartz coming to band. • °"• i-•
Gem (Waiomo).^.At No. 1 level etbping on the back lead.is being carried on. > The lead, although split up, still produces a fair quantity of good crushing dirt, and gold is seen every breaking down. The stopes are being carried^ back to meet those previously worked.
