VV'anaka, s.s.; fromthe South On Saturday afternoon the e.s. Wanaka left for the South with the Southern portion of tho San.Francisco mail, and cargo and the following passengers:—Sir W. Fox, | Mr and Mrs W. Stewart, Messrs W, A. Graham, A. Duncan, Sharp, J. L. Soutler, M. Taylor, Allen, W. D. Mears.; ' ' ■ On Saturday the s.s. Glenelg arrived from Wanganui with cargo. The s.s. Gairloch arrived from,Waitara 6ti Saturday with the following passengers: —Miss Ambridgo, Mrs Jones and family (3); Messrs Hood, Watts, Gregory,"Govvlee, and 4 steerage. At 6 a.m. yesterday the b.s. Rotorua arrived from the South'with the following passengers :—Mr arid Mrs Hall, Mr and Mrs Duncan, Re.w Mr and Mrs Neville andinfant, 'Mesdames Holmesj Levien, Hammond, Captain Anderson, Messrs Barry, Darby, Biily, Allen, Johnson, Keep, Hughes, ■ Roberts, Meadows, Bissell, Clayton, Austin, and 5 steerage. She left the Rattray-streob Wharf, Dunedin, ab 3.30 p.m. on the 10th instant, called as usual at I'Ly^fceltdn, tho Straits ports, and New Plymouth, leaving the letter porfc at 4.15 p.m. on the 15th instant, arriving as above. Fine weather".was experienced throughout the paßaage. ; Yesterday morning the s.s. Rbwena arrived from Hokianga. \ , ■" ■■'
