In the return match between the Ausfcralian Eleven and Shrewsbury's team the latter made 195, the highest scores being— M. Read (20), Newham (32), Docker (32), Lohmann (35), and^Briggs (37). Turner took 6 wickets for 72, and Trobt 3 for 60. The Australians were unable to stand against the bowling of Briggo arid Lohmann, and the last wicket fell with the total at 35. Ferris was the highest scorer with 14. Briggs took .6; wickets for 17, and Lohraann 3 for 16. , ; . ,-,
