Thursday: Drapery at mart, and household .furniture at Hcalluld View lload-all well attended, and comnetition fairly brisk. The attendance at Friday's market sale was very large. In tho poultry department entries were a^ain numerous, all pens being cleared at gopd values. Pigs .-were in aniall supply, and the demand unsatisfied. ■ Local apnlcs still come -forward in small quantities, and are keenly competed for. A lew cas"es of splendid oranges from 'Matakcna sold well.
