Mastef.to>", this day. A painful case of supposed suicide by drowning has occurred at Mangamahoe. Annie Kate Long, the wife of a Master, ton settler, had been engaged nursing at Mangamahoe. She left a house there on Friday morning, and not returning a search party was instituted, and found her slippers on the bank of the river yesterday three miles from the house. The river was dragged and the body recovered, but life was extinct. An inquest is being held today.
