ARRIVAL OF THE S.S. WAINUI.
The E.M.S. YVainui, 640 tons, G. Craw•haw, arrived from the Fiji Islands this Booming. She left Levuka at midnight on the 3rd inst., reaching Suva at 6 a.m. on the 4th. Embarked cargo mails and passengers, and left at 4.30 p.m. Passed Mount Washington at 11 p m. same day. Sighted Mokohino light at 4.30 a.m. ontheQfch. Passed Tiritin at 12.25 p. m., and arrived alongside the wharf at 1.40 p.m. Experienced moderate winds till the 6th and strong southerly winds till makingthe coast, thence fine weather till arrival. Passengers : Auckland: Messrs Richardson, Poulton, McKinlay, Webster, Cornwall, Baissle and Malloy. Dunedin: MrMcCulloch. Sydney: Mr Spence.
The brigantine Ryno arrived in harbour at 2.30 this afternoon from a cruise to Suwarrow and other islands. Her cargo consists of 60 tons copra, 12 tons shell, 4 packages returned trade. She brings one passenger, .Mr Dunnett, junior" On the 20th June in lat. 17.20 S., long. 17h.9 E., spoke the ship Aeolus from Port Discovery bound to Melbourne, which wished to be reported all well.
