THE Winter Mee"ttag~~of the Onehunga Racine Club on Saturday passed off without a hitch of arty kind. Tho attendance, though, was poor.and there was but little speculation. When the flag was lowered Revenge, Fair I lay and Peter Osbeck were the firsttomove, and the trio lumped the first hurdle almost in line, Recruit and Trovatore being next to negotiate the obstacle, Huntsman and Don bringing up the rear. At the first stone S Bltevehge and Fair Play led Peter Osbecic by a couple of lengths, tho rest of the field being m Indian We. Soon after ' Peter Osbeck was taken to the front, and, making his own running throughout tho remainder of the journey, ran homo winner in the easiest manner possible by fully ten lengths from Recruit, whdwassorne distance infront of Huntsman. Revenge was fourth, Don filth, whilst Trovatoi-e, who fell at the hurdle at the back of the course, walked in with the crowd. Dividend (£1 tickets), ±8 ss.
