PORT OF ONEHUNGA.
The s.s. Glenelg arrived on Saturday from Hokianga with a general cargo and one passenger, Miss Hook,
The s.s. Rotorua arrived from Bunedin via Southern ports, with mails and passengers, at 8 o'clock, yesterday morning:. She feft Dunedin wharf at 3.5 p.m. and cleared Otago Heads at 4.25 p.m. on 19th, and arrived at Lytteiton at 0.30 p.m. on 20th ; sailed again at 9 p.m., and arrived at V* ellington at 4.30 p.m. on 21st; sailed again at 2 a.m. on 22nd, called at Picton, and arrived at Nelson at 5.45 p.m. same day ; left as-ain at 7.15 p.m., and arrived at .New Plymouth at 9 a.m. on 23rd ; sailed thenco at 11.20 a.m. : crossed tbe bar at 11.15 p.m., and arrived alongside Onehunga wharf as above. Experienced fresh northerly winds with head seas from Dunedin to New Plymouth; thence to arrival light nothwest breeze with beam sea and fine weather. Passengers :— Mesdames Gallagher, Brown, Hooper, Roufhton, and Thomas, Messrs Gallagher, Cummons, Boylan, Hooper. Price, Sutherland, Balmain, Corke, Churchward, and six steerage. 5.3. Gairloch arrived at 2 o clock on Sunday afternoon from Waitara with a good cargo and the following passengers:—Mrs Campbell, Messrs Milligan, Duiers, Phanton, King, Dcnnes, Poke and two steerage.
The s.s. Wanaka left on Saturday at 11.30 a.m., with the Southern portion of the Alameda's mails and cargo and passengers.
The Union Co.'s s.s. Rotorua, for the South, took her departure at 9.30 this morning, with cargo and passengers.
The Northern Co.'s steamers Glenelg and Gairloch left to-day, at 1 o'clock, tho former for Waitara, and the latter for Wanganui and Wellington.
