REMEMBRANCE.

What joy I feel at thy sweet words Of love and tender care; Thou knowest not my love for thee, How hard the cross to bear. We are apart—'tis better so. But oh! the grief and pain Is oft renewed on seeing thee. And listening once again To thy sweet voice -the gift of God, That has such power to thrill The heart and inmost soul of ono Who is ever faithful still. Then, think of me-I know you will— At dawn and close of day, And ask of Him who is our guide To watch o'er me alway. Fidelis. Auckland.
