STANLEY.
DISQUIETING REPORTS.
London, Juno 14. NEWS has been recived from the Arabs at Kinsassa, Upper Congo, that Stanley's party encountered a force of hostile natives. After a fight, half of his escort deserted. Tippoo has failed to keep his promise to send a convoy for Stanley.
June 15.
It is feared that the reported encounter between Stanley and hostile tribes may have been a more serious affair than at first stated, and that the worst has not been revealed.
