HOTEL BURNED DOWN.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Gisborne, this day. The Oil Springs Hotel at Watatutu, occupied by Mr W. Devery and owned by Mr A. C. Arthur, was burned to the ground early on Monday morning. The store adjoining and a little furniture were saved. Insurance: £300 on the building in the Royal, and £100 on the furniture and £50 on the stock in the South British Office.
