AN ESCAPED LUNATIC.

Thames, this day. James Mann, formerly a resident of Thames, arrived here by the' s.s. Rotomahana last night, having escaped from Avondale Asylum. He has been arrested, and will be sent back by the s.s. Enterprise to-night.
