TROUBLE IN AFGHANISTAN.
FIGHTING BETWEEN THE AMEER AND INSURGENTS.
Cauul, May 11. Severe lighting has taken place on the Afghan frontier between the Ameer's troops and the rebels. The Ameer restrained the Aharashed tribe from seeking Russian protection, and General Aiikauhoff has been despatched to assist the Aharasheds.
The Ameer's troops have severely defeated the tribe who revolted in favour of Russia. The tribe was located between Penjdeh and Herat.
