The recent dispute which took place in th]b Legislative 4;__jembly Messrs Haynes and.Fletcher has resulted in .the former taking proceedings against Mr Fletoher for assault, and damages haye been fixed at £5,00b. The defendant has now acknowledged the offence- and has p&id £. into 'Court, which he alleges is.thj fall amount for which he is indebted.
